'1935년 코닥사는 처름으로 컬러 리버셜 코닥크롬필름을 선보였습니다.

코다크롬의 가장 큰 특징은 흑백으로 찍힌 영상이 현상과정에서 컬러로 변한다는 것이였죠.

코닥사에 따르면 이 강인한 필름은 100년 이상 보존될 수 있다 합니다.

이 필름은 수십년간 아마츄어 영화인들의 가장 큰 벗이였죠.

1965년을 시작으로 코닥은 코닥크롬을 슈퍼8 카트리지 형식으로 판매합니다.

전세계적으로 수백만개의 카드리지가 팔려나갔지만 코다크롬은 2006년 운명을 맞이하죠.

이어질 이 경의로운 필름의 마지막 산물인 슈퍼8 영상은 2006년 9월 코닥크롬40 으로 찍혀졌습니다.

과거 1973년 미국의 뮤지션 폴 사이먼은 코다크롬에게 바치는 곡을 부르기도 했죠.
